Description
HARTIP 3000
The operating principle of rebound hardness testers is based on detecting the motion of a ‘projectile’ contained in the probe which, released by a spring, rebounds on the test piece (without leaving the probe – so it cannot be lost). The motion of the ‘projectile’ after impact will indicate the hardness of the test piece. This method almost never marks the test piece, leaving it perfectly intact.
